Veljko Belevic, Double Bass

Vida Belević finished her primary and secondary music school in Kolašin and Podgorica. She graduated at the Music Academy in Podgorica in the class of Russian pedagogue, prof. Vladimir Bockarjov and Master studies at the department of chamber music at the Music Academy in Cetinje in the class of Professor Čedomir Nikolić. During her education she received several republican and federal awards (Podgorica, Kotor, Sarajevo, Belgrade ... etc.). Her career is accompanied by a large number of concerts held in Montenegro and abroad, as well as cooperation with prominent artists. She was also a member of trio "Virtuosi Montenegra" with whom she successfully performed. Following her student at competitions and concert programs, Vida proved to be an excellent piano associate who greatly contributed to the success of students at national and international competitions, as well as on their public appearances. In addition, her musicality, the elaborate tone and the sense of forming the phrase were noticed at other concerts. She works as a senior expert for the subject Piano Practicum, and as a piano associate in the double bass class at the Music Academy – Cetinje in Montenegro.

Veljko Belevic lives in Podgorica. He got his bachelor diploma at the Music academy in Podgorica. He finished his master studies in June 2003. with the highest grades at the Music Academy in Cetinje. He held a large number of concerts abroad (Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia ... etc. as a soloist, then as a member of various chamber ensembles (TangoNova, Royal Consort Montenegro, Anderba, Bassonegro), as well as a member of various domestic and international Orchestras. He attended Master classes with the accredited world virtuosos and pedagogues, including: Ludwig Streicher (Bec), Jean - Marc Rollez (Paris), Rinat Ibragimov (London) .. etc. Works at the Music Academy - Cetinje since 1998 as an expert associate on various subjects; Doublebass, , Methods of teaching string instruments, Historical development of string instruments. He also worked as a doublebass professor at the High music school "Vasa Pavic" in Podgorica. His students won numerous state and international awards.
